Little while since we spoke…

Hello! Well in the last couple of months FtL has been a little quiet on the blogging front as we have been beavering away at funding applications – but Christmas is upon as and we have some fund-raisers to do! First up a Su-Kumari and Bead Party Company sale yesterday evening, thanks to those who braved the bad weather we raised £99! So a big thank you to everyone! The bead Party Company will also be giving 100% profit of all their pack sales over Christmas – so a big thank you to them!

We have regular updates from Nepal – SPACE and RUWON have been continuing all the work on a voluntary basis, ensuring that all the young people involved have a chance to continue – they really have achieved a great amount and the workshops continue to support over 100 young people. And Care Himalayan Region are joining us the up-scaled Act on Education programme we very much hope will be able to start in Autumn 2013.

All the FtL children in India have been doing well, struggling through exams in the on-coming cold weather – so well done to you all!

And finally we should certainly say a very happy Diwali and Tihar to all our friends far away!
