Our Palki Thakur family

We have received a lovely email from Palki Thakur, the headmistress at the Himalayan Buddhist Cultural School in Rungri, Kullu. She has told us that the children are settling in very comfortably into the new school building. It is the FIRST time they have had a bed each, AND they have windows – we visited in Winter 2010, the snow was a foot high and the dorms were only separated from the big freeze with chicken wire. This is a massive improvement and much of it thanks to you lovely sponsors and donators – THANK YOU 🙂
