Flood and Landslide Response Projects
Immediate Relief Efforts
In response to this crisis, we are providing urgent relief to affected families. Our efforts include:
- School Packs: Distributing essential school supplies to help children return to their education.
- Trauma Support Workshops: Offering therapeutic sessions in art, drama, and sports, along with specialist grief counseling.
- Clean Water Supply: Working with local partners to restore safe, clean water to schools, as many have lost their water sources.
Despite the challenges, we have witnessed incredible resilience and joy among the children in Bethanchowk, one of the hardest-hit areas. Our drama workshops have provided much-needed relief and connection, allowing children to experience moments of fun and ease during these difficult times.
The stationery packs we are delivering have brought security for 264 children here, providing all they need for at least 5 months. And just look at the smiles a pack can bring!
