Joey Owen will be swimming all the way round Brownsea Island on the 13th of July. In order to train for such a swim (6.5km) with no wetsuit, she has swum all year round aclimatising to the cold, as well as swimming up and down Milford Beach getting those shoulders ready! She hopes to raise £609 – all the money needed to pay for 6months worth of stationary for our 108 children, who she will visit in Ktm this July and August while working on our new project ‘Act On Education Nepal’. Please sponsor her if you can spare any cash for this worthwhile cause by going to the link at the bottom of our homepage and sending a message to spur her on when she is freezing and knackered and still has ages to go!!! You can also makes chaques payable to ‘Freedom to Learn’ and send them to our office at 15 Lawn Road, Milford-on-Sea, SO41 0QZ.
Thanks 🙂
